Pink Poodle OVERLOAD

Cade had such a good time at her party. She really seemed to know that the show was all about her & she needed to shine. My sister Becky made a great birthday cake for Cade (I’m glad we bought Becky so many cake decorating gadgets for her birthday). Cade loved all of her presents and actually played with most of them right away. We took one of the out of the package so she could play with it but she thought they all needed to be out of their packages so of course we took them all out for her to play with. Thanks you to everyone for coming and making it such a special day. I have to apologize to the OU fans; I planned the party during the 1st game of the season in a place with no TV (as Rob pointed out) obviously I don’t keep up with football too much.

Who let her get this big?

Cade had her birthday party at daycare on Friday since she wasn’t feeling very good “on the day”. I took cupcakes and hats for her friends and left my camera so I could see her celebration. I didn’t realize she wasn’t sitting in a highchair anymore… how big does she look at that table???? I think she just seems so happy to be at the head of the table and in charge. She is still pretty small but mighty. Stay tuned for Pink Poodle party pics.

It’s my birthday & all I got was this t-shirt.
Cade,
We can’t believe 12 months have gone by since you joined our family. We can say they have been the 12 best months of our life. You have changed us more than we ever thought was possible. We knew you would be fun when you got big enough to talk and laugh; we were not expecting you to be so much fun from the very beginning. The night before you were born your mom cried out of fear because she didn’t know what we were about to get ourselves into. Now she cries regularly (more often as your first birthday approached) but it is a cry of overwhelming love. You are constantly changing and learning new things. We love every new stage but at the same time miss the helpless baby we brought home from the hospital. Thank you for your funny little personality and making us smile everyday!
Love,
Mom & Dad
