Freshman year was so crazy!  It went by so fast, and SO much happened within this past year!  I am sorry I stopped updating after Freshman Banquet.  A WHOLE LOT of fun things or interesting things have happened, but I didn’t take the time to blog about them….

I suppose I could highlight a few happenings since my last update.
*I love driving around in downtown OKC and finding new places to try.  Coffee shops, restaurants, art galleries….  PLEASE TRY CUPPIES AND JOE!  I love that place!  Cupcakes = delicous.  Coffee (Joe) = delicious!  Kelsey Humphreys played with the accompaniment of Matt Stansberry live while I was in there.

*I am slightly obsessed with the sky lately.  The weather is so… wild…, but the sky holds beauty no matter what!  I enjoy taking pictures of the sky with my iPhone no matter where I’m at.

*I am on “phase two” of my recovery workout.  I am supposed to do these different jumps to help strengthen my knees and legs.  I have still been going on walks but haven’t been as dedicated to the jumping.  That has hindered me from moving to phase three….  A goal of my summer is to work all the way through the six phases! 

*Towards the end of the semester, curfew became pretty frustrating to me!  As classes and homework began to wind down, I wanted to be doing fun things pretty much all the time, especially on the weekends when it was more convenient.  I got through it though, no worries! 

*Ben took me to the arts festival.  SO much artery clogging food!  But good music, interesting artwork, and it was a beautiful day outside.

*Finals week is like murder to the body…. 

*As of yesterday, I am completely through with my freshman year of college.  Whew!

*It took me like… 5 trips or more to get all of my things home.

I love OC, and I am excited about next year.  My sister will be coming here!  A few more of my friends will be coming here next year also….  Yay!

Freshman Banquet was SO MUCH FUN!! The food was delicious too.  I HIGHLY recommend all the freshman to attend the banquet.  Afterwards Ben (my date) and I hungout with Carmon and Mason.  We had a lot of fun.  I used one of my late extentions.  It turns out I have four per semester!  I did not know that!  Looks like I need to use up the other three now….

Warning:  I am going to look stunning.    Just sayin’!    Ben is gonna look great too.  How fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!!!!    Our banquet is at the petroleum club on the 39th floor of some building.  It’s going to be yummy, classy, fancy, and FAAAAABULOUS! 

Today I went to the registrar and added the vocational ministry major.  I am really excited about that.  I got all my classes worked out too, finally!  Thanks Dr. Bannister!!  He’s such a nice guy.

Saturday I should have been really, really tired.  I had to get up to babysit.  I felt alright though, and I made it through the day just fine!

Sunday night a group of us got together at the church again to hangout.  I played halo for the first time.  It was fun.  I felt silly, but I laughed at myself. 

I had SUCH. A. GOOD. WEEKEND!!!!!!!!

The wind was blowing people around today!  What a breeze! 

Kaley is gone for the night at a band tour type thing….  I’ll miss her!

Ben and I went to this place called Cafe De Tapei and got boba teas (I call them bubble teas, but whatever).  I enjoyed that.

I also gave my speech today!  I think I did better on this one than my last one.  I hope so!

Ben and I finished my kahlua cake tonight.  YUM! 

AH!  The weather was BEAUTIFUL today!!!!  I can’t believe this is the last month of my freshman year of college…. WOW.  Where did it go?  College goes by quicker than I expected, for sure.  I was told it flies by.  Now I believe it.

I got more math help tonight from Jonathan….  This time it turned into a study session!  Three other people from the class joined us.  When we finished going through the practice test, I went out with Salomon so he could get food, and I got a giftcard from Starbucks to help thank Jonathan for all of his help.  It has been a LONG time since I’ve hungout with Salomon.

Anyway, I feel a little bit better about the test.  However, I still do not feel entirely confident.  I’m actually really nervous.

I had forgotten about the fact that Carmon and I had tickets to Ballet Oklahoma’s “The Wizard of Oz” ballet!  Someone at church brought it up, thankfully!  I was late, and Carmon and I almost didn’t get in.  However, once we did, it was TOTALLY worth it!  We had incredible seats, and the show was wonderful!    I felt a part of my childhood return to me today.  When I was little, “The Wizard of Oz” was my favorite movie.  My mom said she used to have to play it to get me to sleep.  Also, I went through a stage where I refused to be called anyone but “Dorothy.” 

Afterwards, because I caused Carmon and I to be late, I took her out for coffee.  I love spending time with Carmon!  In fact, we ended up spending basically the whole afternoon together! 

Tonight I went to my church and hungout with “the group” that usually all gets together at Sarah’s.  It was fun.  I got kindof hyper.  If only you knew what that was like….  Or maybe you do…. Oh my!
