Edmond Women’s Club is currently accepting applications from qualified women for college scholarships.
Qualified applicants must meet the following criteria:
1) Be a U.S. citizen,
2) Successfully completed twenty-four (24) college credit hours at time of application, AND
3) ONE of the following:
• Be a resident of the city of Edmond as defined by street address,
• Live within the Edmond city boundaries,
• Live within the Edmond School district, OR
• Have a significant interest in the Edmond Community
Applicants will be considered on the basis of demonstrated financial need, career and educational goals, achievements and references.

The postmark deadline is February 11th. Applications that are incomplete or are postmarked after this date will not be considered.

For the 2014-15 academic year, the DutchCrafters Amish Furniture Heritage Scholarship will award three scholarships of $500 each. Disbursements of the award will be made in two increments of $250 each – one for the first semester and one for the second semester of the academic year. The award payment will be forward by DutchCrafters directly to the college or university for distribution. Awards are for undergraduate study only.
The application deadline is May 1, 2014 for the 2014-15 academic year.
The application consists of three parts:
Part 1) Application
Part 2) Statement of Financial Need
Part 3) 750 Word Essay
Essays are expected to be written in a formal paragraph form. Spelling and grammar will be considered in selecting the top essays. Style and creativity will also be taken into account.
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Furthermore, DutchCrafters will not assume the responsibility of notifying applicants that their application is incomplete. DutchCrafters will not confirm or verify individual submission queries.

The $1000 Spokeo is again being made available to students for the fall of 2014 who submit an eligible, original essay no later than 11:59 p.m. July 1st 2014.
To be eligible, applicants must be either a recently graduated high school senior who will enroll as a freshman at a four-year or two-year college or university in the Spring of 2014 OR a full-time student currently enrolled at a an accredited four-year or two-year college or university; maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above; and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

The Mae Austin Scholarship is funded by the Oklahoma City Republican Women’s Club and is awarded to non-traditional female students who are registered Republican voters in the state of Oklahoma. Applicant must be attending an Oklahoma School of higher education in the fall of 2014. Deadline is February 28, 2014.
