Oklahoma Christian baseball players Jordan Price and Josh Balch helped the Midwest City Outlaws to second place at the team’s Memorial Day Tournament earlier in the week. Price belted three home runs in the event, while Balch went deep in an 8-4 win over Putnam North.
Price accumulated the third-highest batting average in OC history in 2008 at .437. He led the team with 17 doubles and three triples. Balch hit .286 with five homers and 26 RBIs.

The OC golf team continued its historic streak at the NAIA tournament, placing second in the nation to extend its run of top-four finishes to nine straight years. Seniors Bruno Buccolo and Rhein Gibson joined former golfer Juan Lizarralde as the only four-time All-Americans in program history. The OC men’s golf and men’s tennis teams are headed to their respective NAIA national tournaments. The tennis tournament will be in Mobile, Ala., May 12-17. The golf tournament is in Plymouth, Ind., May 13-16.
