Dr. David Lowry, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and Professor of Communication, and Dr. Jim Dvorak, Director of the North Institute for Teaching and Learning and Associate Professor of Bible, attended the 2013 Heartland eLearning Conference that was held at the University of Central Oklahoma on February 25-26. On Tuesday, February 26, Drs. Lowry and Dvorak co-presented a paper titled “Resistance is Futile: the Impact of Convergence and Futurism on Learning” at the conference. Dr. Lowry has served as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences since the fall of 2005, and Dr. Dvorak has been teaching at Oklahoma Christian University since the fall of 2008.
