OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (June 2, 2010) – Three female and two male Oklahoma Christian track and field athletes netted NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards for the 2010 season as was announced on Saturday.
For the Lady Eagles, Kristi Edwards, Samantha Foshee and Rachel Snider all earned the honor while Philip Deal and Jacob Wolf did so for the Eagles.
The award is the second in track and field for Snider and her fourth overall, including two honors in cross country. Wolf earned his second award overall after receiving the award in the fall during his participation in cross country.
To receive the honor a student-athlete must posses a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and have achieved junior academic status.
