Kisorio left the field in the 1000-meter run with a 2:30.28 time to place ahead of teammate Frezer Legesse who followed in second with a 2:32.99. Kisorio’s time qualifies him automatically for the indoor national track meet while Legesse’s time was good enough for provisional qualifying.

Also qualifying for the Eagles, Renaldo Garrett ran an 8.41 60-meter hurdle time in the prelims to secure the NAIA provisional mark. Geoffrey Njonjo narrowly missed out on the provisional qualifying standard in the mile after running a 4:23.13 to place fourth.
Mattoon launched the shot put 44 feet, two inches to claim the event and qualify automatically for the Lady Eagles. Mattoon threw to a second-place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 56 feet, four and three-quarter inches. The throw meets the NAIA automatic qualifying standard.
Also qualifying for the Lady Eagles were Irene Masai and Rachel Snider in the 1000-meter run.
