OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (Oct. 29, 2009) – The Oklahoma Christian women’s soccer team will be hosting a “Pink Night” in addition to Nov. 2nd’s women’s and men’s double header against Mid-America Christian University. All proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
A rescheduled women’s and men’s soccer doubleheader against MACU is planned to take place at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively on Monday, Nov. 2. This is the last home game of the season for both teams and will also be a night where the seniors from each team will be recognized between games.
The women’s game will have a pink theme in light of October being the national breast cancer awareness month. Estée Lauder will be present to give away free samples and pink t-shirts will be given away at halftime of the women’s game.
Donations will also be accepted throughout the night with all proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
