Dalgliesh inks with Eagles’ golf squad

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (April 12, 2010) – Ali Dalgliesh, a highly accomplished student at the Sussex College of Golf in England, has signed on with the Oklahoma Christian golf team committing to play for the Eagles during the 2010-11 school year.

The 5-11 Dalgliesh brings plenty of golf experience and success to the table for the Eagles and will be a helpful addition to the OC program that won the national title in 2009.

Dalgliesh has received three Sussex County (all-state) awards since 2006 and won two tournaments in 2009, one of which he shot a 66 (five under par). Dalgliesh made his mark at the Lindfield Golf Course in 2008 when he shot six under par for a 64 to set a course record.

Among numerous other accolades as a golfer, Dalgliesh also participated in soccer and tennis during high school. Dalgliesh plans to get a degree in business at OC and eventually play golf on tour following graduation.

Dalgliesh will join the Eagle squad this fall for the 2010-11 school year.
